Krabi tourist attractions carry the legacy of the most unspoiled beauty of Thailand that allures every traveling mind to.

The charm of Krabi includes the secluded Phi Phi islands and the exotic beach resorts of Koh Lanta (island). The sublime attractiveness of the Railay and Ao Nang. Beach adds to the exclusiveness of the islands. Above all the group of around 200 islands complements to the variety to the beauty of the place.

Krabi boasts of the best of the beaches in Thailand. The beaches at the different locations in the island make it a good trip around the archipelago. Some of the best beaches are the one at the Yao, Lanti, Hin Khom, Hin Khao, Ton Sai islands. Other than the beaches the natural beauty of the island consists of the jungle which abodes to a huge number of flora and fauna species along with a vast variety of vegetation.

Phi Phi island

Koh Phi Phi (or Phi Phi island) consists of two islands, Phi Phi Don, the larger one of the two with an abundance of fine beaches and accommodation to suit all needs. The more geographically dramatic, Phi Phi Leh, with its cliffs, natural caves and water-filled canyon offers the tourists exciting and outdoor pursuits. Both islands are in Krabi province and are part of Nopparat Thara Beach/Koh Phi Phi Natioanl Marine Park, about 42 Kilometers south of Phuket.

Koh Poda

Koh Poda is a small limestone island 25 minutes by boat from the beaches of the Raileh peninsular (which can be seen on the horizon in the photograph). The circular island is no more than a kilometre in diameter, covered in palm trees and almost entirely encircled by a soft white sand beach. A coral reef lies 20 metres offshore, and the combination of scenery, beach and excellent snorkelling make it one of my favourite places to spend a lazy day in this part of the world.

There is some accomodation in Koh Poda (bungalows), although it's quite pricey. Koh Poda is an Island and is approx. 30mins by [Longtail Boat] ride from Ao Nang Beach.
(Cost per person: 200 Baht - two way)

Koh Lanta
Koh Lanta Island is a favourite spot for those who seek peace and solitude, and is the home of the District and National Park offices. Mountainous and rugged in some spots, especially near the southern tip; with a combination of gravelly and fine white sandy beaches, the island is also home to a clan of Chao Ley, or Sea Gypsies who preserve many of their ancient customs and ceremonies.

Travel to Koh Lanta: Boat departs from downtown Krabi to Ko Lanta Yai daily. The journey takes 2.5 hours.

Ao Nang Beach
Ao Nang This bay is situated some 20 kilometres from town. Its white sandy beach stretches to the foot of a conspicuously prominent limestone range. Accommodation is available along the beachfront. Other facilities include diving shops, boats for rent and sightseeing by canoe. From Ao Nang, tourists may hire boats to visit nearby attractions such as Railay Beach, Tham Phra Nang located on the land to the east of Ao Nang, as well as other offshore isles such as Koh Poda, Koh Kai, Koh Mo and Koh Thap.

Than Bok Khorani National Park
The National Park covers an area of 37.5 rai of land in Tambon Ao Leuk Tai. Its headquarters is located just one kilometer from Tambon Ao Leuk Neua Market intersection on the Ao Luk Sak road. The Park is covered by a canopy of diverse species of trees such as wild gardenia, asoka, and Apocynaceae that are scattered around Sa Bok Khorani, an attractive emerald pond after  which the park is named where visitors can swim.

At the north end of Sa Bohk Korani, which flows through a winding passage in the mountain, is a wood carving of a footprint of the Lord Buddha and a shrine of Chao Pho To Yuan - To Chong. Other attractions in the park include several limestone mountain caves, verdant mangrove forests and beautiful islands which can be reached only by boat Admission fee is 200 baht per person.
